New South Wales Premiers Reading Challenge

Throughout Terms 1, 2 and 3, students at John Palmer are being encouraged to complete the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge. This scheme supports your child's development as a reader by providing them with the opportunity to read or experience a wide variety of quality literature. Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 read or experience 30 books to complete the challenge and students in Years 3 to 6 read 20 books.

Students must read the books from the appropriate level of the Premier's Reading Challenge booklist. They are allowed a maximum of 5 books that are not on the list. This list is available on the website at https://online.det.nsw.edu.au/prc/home.html, or simply type NSW Premier's Reading Challenge into your search browser and follow the links.
